Better Men’s Health

Dr Wee is a GP who really gets men’s health, both physical and mental. It's no secret that guys often shy away from healthcare compared to women, especially younger men between 15 and 40. This can be due to all sorts of reasons like how society views masculinity or just the way traditional healthcare settings often don’t cater to what men need. Many of the issues guys face can be pretty personal and sensitive, making it tough to speak up. That's why it’s important to have spaces where men feel comfortable and supported when it comes to their health.

Empathy & Trust

Dr. Wee grew up in Asia and has Thai-Chinese roots. He moved to New Zealand as a teenager and trained in medicine at the University of Auckland. After med school, he worked in various hospital roles like Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, and Palliative Medicine in both Australia and New Zealand. He even volunteered as a doctor with Mercy Ships in Africa.

While he enjoyed the fast-paced hospital life, Dr. Wee realized that true healthcare is all about putting people first. As a Specialist GP and in his vasectomy practice, he found his passion for men's health, helping countless guys become better partners, fathers, friends, and all-around good people.

Dr. Wee is happily married and has two young daughters that he loves spending time with. His journey hasn’t been without its challenges, including his own health, masculinity, sexuality, and struggles with infertility. As a business owner and team leader, he understands the tricky balance between work, family, and personal wellbeing.

He relates to people from all walks of life and stands for everyone, no matter their background, gender, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. Dr. Wee is particularly aware of the health aspirations of Māori and Indigenous Australians and aims to help close the gap in healthcare equity through his work.

An Open Approach

People seek help for countless reasons, and not everyone has a reliable family doctor to turn to for guidance on their health. We want you to feel comfortable talking about anything that weighs on your mind, without the worry of being judged or laughed at. Whether you’re looking for a second opinion on a health issue, processing a recent scare, dealing with stress from life events, exploring personal growth, or discussing sexual health matters, we're here for you. Some discussions take time and trust to develop, so we prioritize your privacy, discretion, and a safe space where you can openly share your concerns.
